The sun is out, you've been working on your beach body and it's finally time to relax on the sun lounger. But which beach are you going to? Whether you want to stay close to the city, go diving or just relax with a cocktail in hand, there are plenty of beaches to choose from.
One of the most popular beaches in the world is Sydney's Bondi Beach. Go surfing, swimming and sunbathing no matter what time of year you visit.
Fly to Sydney.
Indonesia has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and Pandangbai is a backpacker's paradise. This beach town is the perfect place to go diving and snorkelling, but also great for chilling on the beach and watching the world go by.
Fly to Bali.
Hikkaduwa Beach, 30 minutes from Colombo, is a great way to escape life in the city. There are plenty of activities such as boat trips, diving, sunbathing and snorkelling. But if that's not for you, you can sit back and enjoy a delicious fresh coconut.
Fly to Sri Lanka.
Patong Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Thailand, and for party animals it couldn't be better. Enjoy the beach by day, with activities such as jet skiing and parasailing, and experience the bars and clubs at night.

Yes, this is real...Castaway Island in Fiji is a tropical paradise that you should not miss. Imagine Hollywood films where you are shipwrecked on the most beautiful island ever, and then you'll understand what to expect from Castaway Island.
Fly to Fiji.
The Perhentian Islands are simply stunning. For the very best beaches, head to Kecil. The Perhentian Islands are known for some of the best diving spots in the world, so be prepared to be amazed.
Fly to Malaysia.
Although it might not be a tropical paradise, Playa de la Concha is considered one of the best city beaches in Europe. With a beautifully rounded harbour, mountains either side and the city right behind the beach, it has everything you could possibly need.
