Introduction to Bulgaria Air
Bulgaria Air was established as the national airline of Bulgaria in 2002 as the successor to the defunct Balkan Bulgarian Airlines. In 2006 the airline was privatized by approval of the Bulgarian parliament in preparation of the country's entry in to the European Union in 2007. Bulgaria Air currently flies to over two dozen cities across Europe and the Mediterranean from its primary hub at Sofia Airport. It also flies nonstop between Varna and London, Amsterdam and Vienna, as well as nonstop between Bourgas and London and Dublin.
